Best day of my life

We often see each for we have our own lives and living in a different city. So when time allows us to meet I consider it the best day of my life.

I recently had lunch with my sister hours from her  flight schedule. She was here for academic stuffs and to check her students under her supervision who are having summer practicum.

I don’t know why I’m writing this but for sure deep in my heart a lot of reasons to be thankful with my Sister. She is the one who pushes me to chase my dreams, to step my feet into this jaded city world, to get a life out of our native land for she knows it’s one of my small dreams to live in my own, work and be independent.

She financially provides me at times when I was looking for a job. I know my words are not enough to say thank you and even thou I’m still on the path of looking and searching for my dreams. Waiting for it to turn into something you are always there for me smiling and listening to my rocky road journey.

I assure you my loving sister that I’m living my life to the fullest and have burn all my bitterness in life….lol

Thank You

A sister is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit, a golden thread to the meaning of life!

Busy Bee

I was definitely busy for the past few weeks. Joggling between work and personal life drama but it turns great.  My little sister is back on town for school and need to make sure everything is okay for her. I’m acting like a big sister or Mom and I miss her so much!

Buy staff that she needs….

and again…makes me run out money…lol

Show to her what city can offer...@ Photo exhibit

I’m surprised at how much my younger sisters have grown up but still I’m taller and she’s bigger than me but I swear to God I’m genuinely happy for her.

Dinner with Friends..
Dinner....
 and again....

Worst work schedule…been working 27 hours a day

Time to go home and hit the sack..grab more sleep!

But no matter what it's my choice and happy about it. I guess hard work is such a wonderful thing!

So time for Buckle up...a little reward won't hurt me:..I miss everyone:)

Loving myself

Yesterday morning I was hoping that I can visit BRO. So wake up early in the morning but still  I failed. I took the wrong bus so I ended up having a cup of joe and sweets at Krispy kreme perfect for the cold weather.

I’m not a big fun of sweets but Krispy Kreme are completely and utterly heavenly for every donut lovers. A store dedicated entirely to supplying sweet toothed customers. They are famous for their traditional glazed ring doughnut. It is plain but simply offers the best taste. The dough has such a light consistency that it basically melts in your mouth.

They are offering…a choice of classic Krufin or Cinnamon Pull Apart with brewed signature coffee for 99 php/ $2.25 such a good deal.  I’m a cinnamon lover, so anything with cinnamon, I always need to try.

Cinnamon Pull Apart has a hole in the middle and it’s filled with cream topped.  It wasn’t too sweet and the muffin was really soft, like it’s even melting in my mouth along with the cream.
The coffee is rich in aroma and it tastes a real coffee!

I seated on the corner and realized its been long since the last time I dated myself..Yes!
My Self ! and I’m loving every minute of it. It’s like embracing the inner you.

So for this year, I would schedule time with myself. I would literally take myself out on a date and spend that time totally focused on myself. It’s my time. We spend so much time and energy focused on others that we forget to recharge the source of that energy. It is only when you are well that you can have the energy and internal resources to make a positive difference and help others. This is a simple, yet powerful concept that can dramatically improve your well being, effectiveness and mental health.

For a change this year, love yourself! You deserve it!
